Our Mission
Every move to Canada comes with its hurdles. The Embassy community is built to help you clear them. We provide the videos and resources necessary to master the cultural and practical steps of settling in, helping you avoid stressful mistakes before they happen.
Transitioning to a new country is a process, and our mission is to provide the support and clarity needed to make that transition successful. Welcome to a community dedicated to your long-term success in Canada.
About Tim
I’ve been where you are.
I’m a Canadian living near Ottawa, Ontario. I grew up and went to university in Ontario and then worked for the government in Victoria, British Columbia. But then I spent 20 years moving around the world, doing what you're doing now.
I lived and worked in Belgium, in Singapore, in Thailand and in the UK, so know what you're going through with the stress of making decisions where you don't feel you quite have all the information. It's never completely easy, but I want to ease that burden for you.
I have 3 university degrees (including a teaching degree and an MBA) and I'm happy to help with the settlement logistics that the government doesn't cover like jobs, housing, healthcare registration and banking.
My focus is 100% on Settlement & Success, not visas. While RCICs handle your paperwork, I handle your life—finding the right neighborhood, landing the job, and actually thriving here. For all visa matters, I strictly refer to the IRCC website or licensed professionals.
At his stage of my career I'm focused on helping other people establish their careers and live how and where they want to, so I especially love helping immigrants and expats. We have a lot in common!
You'll get to know me well, I'm sure. Feel free to reach out in the members' area if there's anything you need. I'd love to connect with you and help you be successful once you land in Canada.
Future Vision
I'm building The Embassy to help at least 100,000 people establish themselves successfully in Canada and achieve more here than they thought they could.
We'll grow slowly though, because that works best.
